Jack doesn’t give much of a damn what he wears as long as it’s a) functional and b) comfortable
this leads to the others trying to outdo each other by getting him the most ridiculous shirts they can find and seeing if they can find one he WONT wear. joke is on them because he’ll wear all of them.
Jack tends to get a bit lazy when it comes to shaving and only really bothers because his facial hair irritates him under the mask if he lets it go too long
once he’s back with the OW crew and gotten comfortable around them, he starts wearing his visor less and less. he gets pretty good at finding his way around by memory or touch. he wont hesitate to give a good Dad Talk to anyone that leaves things lying around for him to trip on.
nobody cracks more blind jokes than Jack. at first it made the others nervous because they didn’t know if they were allowed to laugh. eventually they all start cracking jokes about it. he secretly loves it because it makes him feel “normal”
Torbjorn might have snuck some lightweight toe guards into his slippers so that he wont break a toe when knocking into something
And some bonus fluffy romantic bits:
when they are in bed together Jack is always running his fingers over Gabe’s skin, tracing patterns both old and new. it reminds him that he hasn’t lost everything
In return, Gabe is the only one allowed near his face. Gabe’s touch is so gentle that he wishes he could see the expression that went with it
Gabe sings to him softly in Spanish when they are alone, so that Jack can tell where he is and so that there’s some sort of noise. he doesn’t understand all of the words, but he knows what “te amo” and “mi
corazon” mean.
Gabe describes things to him in vivid detail, like sunsets or the ocean any other sights that he wishes he could share with him. Jack thinks he’s never experience a sunset more beautiful than those described in that hushed voice.
